Terry Tempest Williams, (www.coyoteclan.com) one of the nation's most celebrated writers, is author of Refuge; Leap; Red - Passion and Patience in the Desert; The Open Space of Democracy; Illuminated Desert; and most recently, Finding Beauty in a Broken World. Recipient of both a Guggenheim and Lannan Literary Fellowship, she is an active voice on behalf of social and environmental issues who lives in Castle Valley, Utah with her husband Brooke Williams.
