Cultivating Women's Leadership (CWL) Scholarship
Cultivating Women's Leadership trainings are 6-day intensives for women committed to progressive social and environmental change, designed around a premise that our inner work serves to inform and strengthen our outer work in the world. The intensives are rooted in values of inclusion, community and mutual respect. We are interested in overcoming barriers that divide women, and gathering groups that are diverse in race, class, age, sexual orientation, personal and professional backgrounds and issue focus.
Participants ages range from 19 to mid-80's, their backgrounds cross divides of education, class and race, and they are united in bringing to life their visions of the new world we're all co-creating. Each group completes the 6-day intensive having forged authentic and enduring connections among the group. What we hear from women who complete the intensive is that they are returning to their communities with an embodied experience of "beloved community" that alters how they relate to themselves, women and the world, going forward.
