Michael Lerner, president and founder of Commonweal, co-founder of the Commonweal Cancer help Program and now the Collaborative on Health and the Environment (CHE), is one of the great visionary leaders of the emerging Ecological Medicine movement. He warns us that we are living in an Age of Extinctions, and experiencing an epidemic of environmentally related disease. We cannot be truly healthy people on an unhealthy planet, but environmental health activism and mind-body medicine can learn from each other.
